Our process

Five steps, all of them by hand.

Nothing here is automated. Every stage passes through the studio, which is why our batches are small and our releases are seasonal.

Thoughtfully designed
Every form begins as a drawing, then a plaster test — refined until it feels right in the hand.

Carefully selected materials
Canadian beeswax, cold-pressed oils, unbleached cotton and mineral pigments. Nothing synthetic.

Hand-poured in small batches
Batches of twenty or fewer, poured at low temperature so the surface sets smooth and even.

Finished and inspected by hand
Each piece is sanded, wiped and checked against the batch before it earns a label.

Packaged with care
Wrapped in washed linen and recycled kraft, with no plastic anywhere in the box.
