Our ethos

Woo Wei creates handmade objects that bring warmth, texture, and intention into everyday living.

Each piece is thoughtfully designed, carefully poured, and finished by hand in small batches. We work with natural materials — beeswax, cold-pressed oils, gypsum plaster and mineral pigment — and let the marks of making remain.

Craftsmanship

How each piece is made

  1. 01

    Thoughtfully designed

    Every form begins as a drawing, then a plaster test — refined until it feels right in the hand.

  2. 02

    Carefully selected materials

    Canadian beeswax, cold-pressed oils, unbleached cotton and mineral pigments. Nothing synthetic.

  3. 03

    Hand-poured in small batches

    Batches of twenty or fewer, poured at low temperature so the surface sets smooth and even.

  4. 04

    Finished and inspected by hand

    Each piece is sanded, wiped and checked against the batch before it earns a label.

  5. 05

    Packaged with care

    Wrapped in washed linen and recycled kraft, with no plastic anywhere in the box.
